How does this Idaho-made ammo do it? Is it some kind of potato-powered magic? It is not! Blazer loads this round with a lightweight bullet and slightly weaker powder charge. Youāll still definitely feelĀ someĀ kick as the 100 grain bullet departs from a 4ā barrel at a velocity of 1,130 fps, but not as much as you would have had you chosen any other 9mm load.
As you may already have guessed, this round is not a heavy hitter. Its low-energy bullet is also a full metal jacket: i.e. a lead core with a plated copper jacket which cannot widen out after impact. All weāre saying is that this ammo is great for low-recoil target practice, albeit a truly poor choice for defense.
Blazer Brass cases are made of ⦠brass! Theyāre also brand new and noncorrosive Boxer primed, so you can āĀ and shouldĀ ā handload this ammo.
