20 Rounds of 7.62×39 Ammo by Belom – 123gr FMJ

Belom bills this 7.62×39 as “Tactical” ammunition. That doesn’t mean its 123 grain projectile is designed to undergo terminal expansion while penetrating a soft medium, however. It is a full metal jacket, with a solid point profile that actually inhibits expansion. What really sets Belom’s FMJ apart is the fact that it doesn’t contain steel: just a solid lead core with a gilding metal jacket, which suits it perfectly for target practice at ranges which disavow Russian-made bimetal jacketed projectiles!

Belom’s factory in Serbia also produces this ammo’s brand new brass cases. Their mouths will expand during ignition to seal the chamber, so you can expect this ammo to produce a little less fouling than the steel-cased alternatives. The cases’ noncorrosive Boxer primers also make them reloadable. This ammo is treated with sealant, so you could safely submerge it in water without seeing any bubbles come out. This ammo’s propellant is similarly reliable – formulated to produce clean, reliable ignition at temperatures ranging from -65 to 125 °F.
