200 Rounds of 30-06 Springfield Ammo by Remington UMC – 150gr MC

Remington’s UMC line of 30-06 ammo is great for target practice with its 150 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile. This ammo is loaded into reloadable-brass cases that are boxer primed and non-corrosive. While FMJ bullets are typically not thought of for their hunting application the velocity of these rounds combined with the bullet weight delivers enough transfer of energy that it will have no problem taking down wild boar and other smaller game.

This bullet at 150 grains in weight is similar in weight to M2 ball ammo used in M1 Garand rifles. While lots of commercial ammo is loaded a little too hot for the M1 Garand, Remington’s UMC 30-06 ammo falls within similar peak pressure ranges as M2 ball ammo so it shouldn’t cause any excess wear on the operating rod.
