Here are your regular old FMJ loads. Winchesterās USA label 308 Winchester is as basic as basic can be. Other rounds are more accurate, which isnāt to say the FMJ wonāt go where you will it to. Other roundsā terminal ballistics are more conducive to hunting, which isnāt to say a 308ās 147 grain FMJ is weak.
Quite the contrary, in fact. Once the steel-free bullet has roared out of a 24ā barrel at a velocity of 2,800 fps, itāll only have to rise about 2.6ā above the bore line before careening into a 200-yard target (0.415 G1 BC). Thatās a flat trajectory however you slice it.
This ammo doesnāt have discolored brass. The casesā shoulders have been lovingly polished to a crisp, golden sheen (or something like it), so theyāre every bit as pretty as they are reloadable.
