Details
This cartridge takes care of range business with the power of its 123 grain full metal jacket projectile. Lead core. Copper-alloy jacket. Zero steel, and just as much terminal expansion. Perfect when you’re only taking aim at things with bullseyes and silhouettes printed on them (but varmints had still better watch out around this ammo).
Hornady recorded this round’s 2,580 fps muzzle velocity and 0.420 G1 BC with a 24” test barrel. Zero in at 200 yards with 1.5” high sights; drop at 300 yards will be around -9.7”.
Want to load your own 6.5 Grendel ammo? Then you won’t be disappointed by Hornady’s gorgeously shiny factory fresh brass cases. Want to fire this ammo in a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle? Don’t even bother trying! It’s 6.5 Grendel or nothing, babe.
