A lot of 9mm PCCs are notoriously sensitive to overall cartridge length and bullet shapes. This UMC load tracks flawlessly through my straight-blowback carbine magazines. The cases extract with high energy and eject uniformly at a clean 4 o’clock pattern.

My local club strictly bans bi-metal jackets or anything that reacts to a magnet. Remington UMC uses a true, traditional copper-zinc alloy jacket over a pure lead core. It passes the magnet test instantly, saving me from getting turned away at the counter.

I’ll be honest, UMC runs a bit dirtier than premium Remington HTP or clean-range lines. It leaves a fine layer of gray soot on my weapon light lens and front sight post after about 150 rounds.
